The Entertainment Rooms

The front room of the house has been furnished to provide a comfortable entertainment room for all the family. The room is situated directly off of the front entrance and has a deep three seater sofa with a large cocktail table.

The Armoire in the corner of the room houses a 27" flat screen TV, with access to all the standard Cable channels. In addition, the TV has a combined DVD/VCR player (which can also play DVD-R disks), an X-Box AND Playstation 2 (PS2) games consoles. We have even thrown in a couple of games for these consoles in case you don't have your own.

NOTE: Systems only play Region 1 games and DVDs.

The room also features the Broadband internet connection which is provided free of charge for all guests. We do not provide a computer at this point in time, but if you have a laptop with an Ethernet connection you can connect it to the cable provided in the Armoire and enjoy 5 MB internet access. Alternatively, if your laptop has a wireless interface (WIFI), then you can connect to the internet from anywhere in the house, including the pool area which has an outside power outlet. The Armoire has a slide out work surface should you wish to use this as a small desk area to work from.

A small console table with our visitor book rounds off the room nicely as a convenient area separate from the other living areas of the house. Ideal for the kids while the rest of the family are enjoying a drink around the pool area.

The new games room, started in January 2006 is equipped with an Air Hockey table with electronic scoring and also a great Foosball (Table Soccer) table.
